Edit Images in Your Browser: A Review and Export Workflow

Prepare still images, choose edits and output settings, review actual encoded results, and download individual files or a ZIP.

Start with supported still images

PDF Logic’s image tools accept still JPG, PNG, and WebP files. A batch can contain up to 30 images, subject to the per-file, combined byte, and decoded-pixel limits shown in the workspace. Animated images, HEIC, AVIF, SVG, RAW files, malformed files, and images beyond those limits are rejected rather than silently converted.

The browser editor keeps original images in memory so edits can be recomposed and undone. Originals are not automatically saved between visits. Most image operations run on your device; HTML to image is different because it sends self-contained static HTML to an isolated server renderer.

Choose edits in source coordinates

Use Crop images for visual or numeric framing, Rotate images for quarter turns, flips, and fine straightening, and Resize images for fit, fill, or stretch dimensions. Fit keeps the whole image inside the requested box. Fill can crop edges. Stretch changes proportions. Enlargement is disabled by default because adding pixels cannot restore missing detail.

Crop and privacy regions use positions relative to the oriented source. Shared batch settings therefore scale across different image dimensions, but the subject can occupy a different part of each frame. Review every image and switch to This image when one file needs its own crop or privacy region.

Choose a format based on the pixels you need

  • JPG suits photographs and uses adjustable lossy quality. It cannot preserve transparency; transparent pixels need a solid background.
  • PNG preserves transparency and encoded pixels without a lossy quality control, but it can be larger for photographs.
  • WebP supports transparency and adjustable quality in browsers that provide the required codec.

Convert to JPG can flatten PNG or WebP transparency onto a chosen background. Convert from JPG can produce PNG or WebP, but changing formats cannot recover detail already lost in a JPG. Compress images measures the actual encoded result; a requested KB target is reported as unmet when the encoder cannot reach it without changing dimensions.

Review automatic and privacy edits manually

Remove background downloads a model on first use and runs it in the browser. Fine hair, glass, shadows, and low-contrast edges may need erase or restore corrections. Model download size and device memory can make this operation slow on phones.

Blur faces can suggest nearby face regions, but detection may miss small, profile, or obscured faces. Add sensitive areas manually and inspect every output. Blur and pixelation do not guarantee anonymity; a solid cover removes visible detail within the covered output pixels. Exports re-encode the image and remove source metadata such as GPS, but you should still verify the downloaded file before sharing it.

Watermark images adds text or a selected logo. Named presets store settings on the device, not logo image pixels. A visible watermark can communicate attribution, but it does not prevent copying or removal.

Preview the encoded output before downloading

  1. Add images and choose whether controls apply to the current image or the whole batch.
  2. Use Original, Output, and Selection views where available. The Output view is generated from the original plus the current edit settings.
  3. Check output dimensions, format, measured file size, transparency against different preview backgrounds, and any target-size warning.
  4. Inspect each crop, removed background, face region, and watermark at a useful zoom. Undo or adjust settings while the originals remain in the session.
  5. Prepare results, then download one image directly or collect multiple prepared images in a ZIP. Cancellation keeps work that already completed.

Prepare static HTML separately

HTML to image accepts pasted or uploaded static HTML, viewport and scale settings, and PNG or JPG output. It does not capture a live URL or execute JavaScript. Embed required images and fonts as data URLs because external requests are blocked. Review the exact rendered image for clipping, font substitution, full-page height, and background appearance.

Final review checklist

  • The downloaded file opens as the selected JPG, PNG, or WebP format and its dimensions match the result summary.
  • Transparent areas and solid backgrounds appear as intended.
  • Important subjects remain inside each crop or fill resize.
  • Every sensitive area is covered with the intended privacy treatment.
  • Watermark text, logo placement, opacity, and contrast remain readable at the final dimensions.
  • Files with an unmet size target are resized or otherwise adjusted before they are submitted to a service with a hard upload limit.
