- 20 images; 25 MiB per file, 100 MiB combined; 24 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side. Up to 200 areas per image. GIF and animated images are unsupported. Total exported images: 100 MiB.
Does Blur Face upload my photos or guarantee anonymity?
Images are processed on your device. The face detector and its assets load from this site; image bytes are not uploaded. Automatic detection may miss faces. Add or adjust areas manually and review every image. Blur and pixelation do not guarantee anonymity; solid cover conceals detail within the selected area. Downloads contain flattened effects and omit source metadata, including location. JPEG uses a white background for transparency; PNG and WebP can keep transparency. Detection requires a supported modern browser; manual editing remains available if detection fails.
Keep your original file and review the output. If processing fails, check the format and limits, then try a smaller supported file. Read the processing and privacy details.
How to use Blur Face
- Choose JPEG, PNG or static WebP images, drop or paste them, or try the sample. Images are processed on your device. Detection assets load from this site.
- Review the detected faces. Add, move or resize areas for missed faces and other details. Choose blur, pixelation or solid cover; every image has its own areas.
- Inspect each image and mark it reviewed. Automatic detection can miss faces, and blur does not guarantee anonymity. Review any areas you chose to keep visible.
- Export reviewed images at their original oriented dimensions. Inspect the actual exported previews, then download individual files or a ZIP. Source metadata, including location, is removed.
