What JPG to PDF does
JPG to PDF places each picture on its own page and saves the set as a single document. You control the order, the paper size, how each image sits on its page and how much the pictures are compressed.
With Paper size set to Image size, every page is exactly as large as its picture, which suits photos and screenshots. Choose A4, US Letter or US Legal when the PDF will be printed or sent to a form that expects standard pages. Fit whole image keeps everything visible; Fill page covers the sheet by trimming the edges.
Your browser draws the page previews and builds the PDF on your device, so your images are not uploaded. One exception is an image your browser cannot open, most often a TIFF: you are asked first, and only that image goes to our server, which prepares its page. With Preserve quality, an unedited JPG is stored in the PDF exactly as it is, without being compressed a second time.
Is this the right tool?

How to convert JPG to PDF
Add images
Select Choose images or drop up to 100 files. Each can be 50 MB: a JPEG photo up to 120 megapixels, any other image up to 40. If your browser cannot open one, such as a TIFF, you are asked before it is uploaded.
Arrange the pages
Drag a handle to reorder, or use Sort for Name A-Z. On the preview you can rotate, crop, replace or remove the selected page.
Choose Paper size
Pick Image size, A4, US Letter or US Legal, then set Orientation and Margins (mm).
Choose Image fit
Fit whole image shows the entire picture. Fill page covers the paper and can crop the edges.
Choose Output quality
Preserve quality keeps full resolution. Balanced and Smaller file scale pictures down for a lighter PDF.
Create and download
Select Create PDF, check the page count and size, name the file and select Download PDF.
Worked example
Six phone photos of receipts for an expense claim
Say you photographed six receipts and the finance portal wants one PDF on standard pages. Add all six photos.
Two were taken with the phone turned sideways. Phone photos carry an orientation tag that the tool applies automatically, and Rotate fixes any that still look wrong. Sort by name usually puts them in the order they were taken, because phone filenames count upward.
Set Paper size to A4 with Fit whole image so nothing is cut off, and choose Smaller file, which scales each picture to at most 1200 pixels on its long side. Look at the faintest receipt in the preview to confirm the print is still readable.
After Create PDF, the result card shows the PDF size beside the size of the original photos. If the portal has a strict limit, the Compress link passes the PDF to Compress PDF, where you can set a maximum size.
Tips for a better result
- Name files 01, 02, 03 before you add them and use Sort to get the order in one step.
- Image size pages follow each picture's stored DPI. If pages come out enormous or tiny, set Image size resolution to 150 or 300 DPI.
- Transparent PNGs keep their transparency, so a logo on a clear background shows the white page behind it.
- Fill page trims whatever does not match the paper's shape. Check signatures and totals near the edges in the preview.
JPG to PDF: questions and answers
Will converting my JPGs to PDF reduce their quality?
Not with Preserve quality. An unedited JPG is placed in the PDF as the same compressed data, so it is identical pixel for pixel. Balanced and Smaller file resize pictures to 2000 or 1200 pixels on the long side and recompress them, trading detail for a much smaller file.
How do I put the images in the right order?
Drag pages by their handle in the list, use the move buttons under the preview, or choose Sort to order by filename. The position shown in the list is the page each image will occupy in the PDF.
Why are my PDF pages different sizes?
With Paper size set to Image size, each page takes the dimensions of its picture, so a mix of portrait photos and wide screenshots gives a mix of page sizes. Choose A4, US Letter or US Legal to make every page the same, and keep Orientation on Auto so wide images get landscape pages.
Can I make the text in my photos searchable?
Not in this tool. The PDF holds pictures of your pages, so a reader cannot search or copy the words. Use Scan to PDF with Make text searchable when you create the document, or run the finished PDF through OCR PDF.
Are my images uploaded when I create the PDF?
Not unless you choose it. The previews and the PDF are made in your browser. If your browser cannot open an image, most often a TIFF, you can upload that one image or remove it. And if your device cannot finish a large job, you can have our server build the PDF, provided the images total 30 MB or less.
