What Delete PDF Pages does
Delete PDF Pages opens your PDF as a grid of pages with a Pages to delete field ready. Type numbers such as 2, 5-7, or select pages and choose Delete; Undo puts back anything you removed by mistake.
The download is a new PDF made from the pages you keep, so deleted pages are not hidden or blanked out: they are left out of the file. Bookmarks and links that pointed to them are removed, and so are form fields that sat on them.
Everything runs in your browser on your device and nothing is uploaded; your original file is not changed. The same workspace can also reorder, rotate and insert pages if you need more than deleting.
Is this the right tool?

How to delete pages from a PDF
Choose a PDF
Open a PDF of up to 50 MB. It appears as a grid of page previews with the Pages to delete field ready.
Enter the pages to delete
Type page numbers and ranges such as 2, 5–7 and select Delete pages. To pick pages by eye instead, tick them in the grid and select Delete in the toolbar.
Use Odd or Even for double-sided scans
Choose Odd pages or Even pages under Select, then Delete, to remove every other page in one step.
Check what is left
The grid now shows only the pages you keep, numbered again from 1. Open a page to see it at full size, and use Undo if a page went by mistake.
Export and download
Select Export PDF, look over the finished document, then download your copy.
Worked example
Blank backs in a double-sided scan of a 12-page contract
Say a scanner fed a 12-page contract double-sided although the backs were blank, so the PDF has 24 pages and every even page is empty. Open it here.
Choose Even pages under Select and the 12 blank pages are selected. Look over the grid to make sure none of them carries a signature or a handwritten note, untick any that do, then select Delete.
The grid now shows 12 pages. Select Export PDF, check the result and download it. If you deleted one page too many, Undo brings it back before you export.
Tips for a better result
- Page numbers always describe the pages as they are now, so after a deletion read the next numbers from the updated grid.
- At least one page has to stay. To replace a document completely, start from the new content instead.
- A contents page printed in the document still lists sections you deleted, so update it in the source if readers rely on it.
- Changing a digitally signed PDF breaks its signature, so delete pages from an unsigned copy and sign the result afterwards.
Delete PDF Pages: questions and answers
How do I delete several pages at once?
Type them all into Pages to delete, separated by commas, with ranges such as 5-9, for example 2, 5-9, 14. Or tick pages in the grid, Shift-click to select a run of them, and select Delete. One Undo puts the whole selection back.
Can blank pages be found and deleted automatically?
No, you choose the pages yourself. For a double-sided scan with empty backs, Even pages selects every second page in one step. Look at each selected page first, because a nearly empty page can still carry a stamp or a signature.
Does deleting pages make the PDF smaller?
Usually, because pictures and fonts used only by the deleted pages are left out of the new file. Pages that share them with pages you keep save less. To shrink the result further, run it through Compress PDF after downloading.
Can I get a deleted page back after downloading?
Not from the downloaded copy, but your original PDF still has every page, because this tool never changes it. Before you export, Undo restores pages you deleted during the session, one change at a time.
